Table answer target

Table snippets seem like a great idea, there are so many searches where the answer I really want is a table with some well organized information. However in our study we found that tables appear as featured snippets only about 3% of the time and they seem to be showing less and less often. Why might that be? One reason could be that when information is presented in a well organized table it takes less time for the user to find what they’re looking for
